Our Shiraz block sits upon the hill in the middle of Steels Creek Valley. It is the first to get the morning sun, and the last to fall dark as the sun sets. Every aspect of the wine making process, from the winter pruning, to ageing in barrel, has been carefully tailored to create a smooth and rich Shiraz.
Our wine lovers found a deeply perfumed blueberry plum nose, with the same characteristics on the palate. Rich, deep fruit, with enough tannic structure to make sense of it all.
A perfect combination of new French Oak, high quality fruit and wine making passion, has created a wine that we are truly proud of.
Our first vintage surpassed our high expectations. Sadly only one barrel was produced and thus this exceptional cool climate Shiraz sold to family, friends and email subscribers before we could take it to the broader market.
